How Do You Fail?

I’m thinking failure is looked at wrong. I use to state in my teen years “I got everything I wanted, literally I could manifest 99% of what I wanted all the time.” How? Some of the things or circumstances I wanted at first I lost interest in or stopped pursing at times.  I never looked at it as failing if I just stopped pursuing it, I looked at it as though It no longer served my purpose so why go after it?

I came across this quote “Most of us view quitting s something negative, but it’s not. Winners never quit, we’re told, when, in reality, winners quit all the time: choosing to stop doing things that aren’t creating the results they desire” ~Jim Allen

When we quit doing or chasing the thing we want we sometimes get a conflict of interest inside of us. Our heart knows better and knows our energy can be spent doing something else. But our minds keep us engaged by telling us not to stop, not to let go yet due to mixed messages and beliefs.  These mixed messages are of failure or shame or guilt.  The simple mantra of winners never quit might be going through our minds to help fuel us to keep going in an activity or relationship that no longer serves our higher good.

So what does positive quitting mean? It means you chose, you have the power, you giving yourself permission to quit one activity to make room for a new and possibly better intention to come your way.  If your effort is no longer inspiring to you then change, quit that activity positively and change directions. You didn’t fail, if you want to say you failed positively after dumbing a ton of work into a project you didn’t finish then label it positive failure. To “quit” Is to behave in a specific way. To fail positively you are acting intentionally and are in charge. There in nothing more disempowering than to stay feeling stuck in a lower vibration of shame, guilt, sadness, anger just because you “can’t” leave this job, project, habit or person. It is asif it controls us and we can’t do anything about it. It begins to sound like an addiction instead of a choice.

When you quit all the things in your life that aren’t working for you, when you quit tolerating all the negative, low vibrations that are holding YOU back from going forward, you will create a positive push or charge in your life.  As you quit those behaviors you open up doors for new to come in. Like a window opens up and new fresh breeze comes in. I don’t know about you but I love when a fresh breeze breaths new life into my life. Your energy will no longer be wasted doing more of the energy sucking activities you no longer enjoy.

So stop looking at quitting as a bad thing, there is no failure, only a change in perspective and effort. To get new results or the results you want in your life.  Here are some things we can quit doing today: quit a worrying a habit, you can’t worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet. If you look at it as though yes I can, you are infusing energy into making the circumstance happen, instead of in a way better than what you can imagine at this moment. Quit waiting for someone or even yourself to give you permission for going after your dreams or changing your circumstances. Quit worrying about what others think about you. Who cares? Is it your life or theirs? Are they wanting the same things in life that you do? Your different, your special, embrace it and go!! Quit comparing yourself to everyone else, and most of all quit waiting around for the perfect moment to start something. Go for it! You only have ome life and live it! At 90 years old all those people you worried about in life are they going to be there? Or will you have enough insight to say I was scared but I went for it anyway and those were the best years of my life!
