Freeing your Self-imposed Limits

Love looking a new ways to free our minds from our self-imposed limits we set upon ourselves.  I came across this yesterday in an article I was reading.

Derek Rydall was explaining in an article he wrote that our self change is often just a false sense of security.  Like holding a beach ball under the water for any amount of time only for us to let go and have it bounce back up above the water and often hitting us in the face.  We think we are changing or finding a different solution to a problem, but we often can not solve a problem from the same level of thinking that caused it.  We have to become the change we want to see around us.

A  bigger picture is the universe surrounding you, me and everyone isn’t neutral, it is always growing and expanding.  Trying to grow all the time. We don’t see nature holding back from emerging so why should we?  A seed, a small seed from a flower, tree or plant can land anywhere on the land and it will stretch with all its might to reach sunlight in order to grow upward.  We often land and that is where we sit.  Not stretching ourselves up and out, twisting and growing little by little to reach our goals.  Flip your mind start thinking your problem isn’t the problem, you changing isn’t even the problem.  You sitting and complaining or staying stuck is the real problem.  You are going against your natural calling of growth.

Gospel of Thomas states: “If you brig forth what is within you, it will save you!  If you do not bring forth what is within you, it will destroy you.” Destroy you in ways of disease, failed relationships, financial crisis, ect.

Crises are not bad things, it sometimes awakens us to a deeper self-awareness and a bigger evolution of ourselves that needed to happen.  In nature some seeds need the forest fire to crack open their hard shells in order to grow.

You might be facing crises in your life currently.  Teetering on the edge of destruction or ruin.  Keep in mind, your seed of evolution into becoming something bigger and better is opening up for your.  It will take you to the next level in self growth if you let it.  If you release your self-imposed limits and learn to trust and have that leap of faith.  Do you like where you currently are in life? Accept your challenge and face it head on, surprise yourself and others in life and learn new skills in life.
