Life-lesson

“Rule Number One is this: If you’re open to learning, you get your life-lessons delivered as gently as the tickle of a feather. But if you’re defensive, if you stubbornly persist in being right instead of learning the lesson at hand, if you stop paying attention to the tickles, the nudges, the clues—boom! Sledgehammer.” – Tenzing Norbu

What a great way to put this!! I like it being delivered by a feather, how about you? I always remember my mom saying whatever you resist persists.  A nice reminder to be in the present moment when things aren’t going your way s you get nudged instead of hit over the head.  How many of you had the signs all along but ignored them and went for it anyway?  Then you get hit with that sledgehammer 🙂 It isn’t to late to learn the lesson once you have been hit with the boom.  That way you don’t learn it again 🙂

Have a great day
