Once you embrace fear and let go you begin living again? Fear is all in your mind. It only lives there if YOU let it. You can kick it out any time you want to. Pretty much everything you are afraid of has a solution but your mind is keeping you from it.
Repeat after me, Embrace fear, let it go and start living life!
When fear hits you your body slows down, your mind starts to rev up and race. Thus making it difficult to think clearly. Which in turn brings on more fear and anxiety. On the other hand maybe you are one of the ones that when fear hits your mind starts to race and think of all the actions you should take in defense to the anxiety you feel.
Instead of thinking from a clear mind you begin to think from a muddy mind and that is when unclear and unfocused thoughts come in. Which in turn are not the best ones you could have come up with.
So what might happen if from now on, when you begin to feel the fear or thoughts begin of “I’m afraid” “I can’t do that” in your mind, you instead think or say “Hey, there’s that fear thing again. And I’m really going to feel it this time. ” When you allow your fear to take over you. You are fighting it. Which only tells your mind this fear is the most important thing in the world and you are now possessed with some worry demon inside of you. Instead of fighting it, embrace your fear and feel it for a few moments. Don’t give into the feeling just acknowledge it is there. Then let the feeling go. That’s all you have to do, let it slip away. “By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try, the world is beyond the winning.”~ Lao Tz
I’m not saying it is an easy thing to do. But letting go is the only thing I have found that works every time. By allowing yourself to feel the fear you are telling your mind it is ok, now it is time to let it go. You are in control not the emotion. You begin to rise above the emotion and almost see as a third-party that can just float. Unaffected by the situation or fear itself. You’re no longer trapped in anxiety and instead of making bad decisions, you can now enter in a solution mentality because your mind is thinking more clearly.
As the fear dissolves the mind becomes clear again and there my friends is where you find your freedom again. Your clarity on life, your choices and what you want to do and move forward!
